English: This weeks English activities are all Harry Potter themed!

Today, read an extract about Neville Longbottom. Then read an imagined school report and write one for themselves or somebody else.

Maths: This week your Maths tasks will look a little different, but I am hoping that the layout will be clearer and easier to understand. The aim is that you can complete 1 online lesson each day. You may find that some of the work is a bit new, but for each lesson there is a powerpoint slideshow to explain the what to do. Once you have watched this, try the tasks it relates to.

Other activities you might consider doing:

  • Creative task: Create a persuasive pitch or advert for your park. This could be in the form of a presentation, poster or leaflet. Share your persuasive piece with a family member. Why should they visit your park? You could also send your work to me to persuade me to visit your park too.

  • Joe Wicks

  • Do you have a pet? Your challenge this week is to have a go at drawing it. Follow these links to see step by step advice of how to draw cartoon cats if that is helpful to you. There are lots of other fun things to draw down the side of these clips too. If you don't have a pet you could draw a toy animal or find a picture to copy!
