Maths - Months of the Year
Today in maths we will be remembering and ordering the months of the year.
Now that you have rewritten the story of The Gruffalo, we would now like you to change the story to include characters of your own choice. For example, you may like to write about a crab taking a walk along the deep, soft sand. Which creatures might he meet? Remember to check that your sentences start with a capital letter and end with a full stop.
Think of three different things that make you feel happy. You can talk about them, write some sentences about them or even draw some pictures of them. Remember to keep emailing your teacher with any photos of the amazing work you are completing at home!

Today in school we are recapping the -y sound. How many words can you think of with the -y sound. Write 2 sentences using 2 of your words.
This Alphablocks video will help with the long a vowel sound and the alternative spellings, that we will be looking at over the next couple of days.
