The lessons are available via the Ruth Miskin Facebook page or the YouTube channel below.
Today please revise the Set 2 sound and practise the Set 3 sound.
Practise writing the sound correctly and then write lots of words containing that sound. If possible, write some sentences using that sound.

Set 2 - ar
Set 3 – a - e
Listen to the story ‘Silly Billy’ by Anthony Browne.
At this unusual time, take a moment to listen to your child and ask about any worries they might have. It is important to discuss worries with the people that they trust. Think of a few appropriate people – family, grandparents, next door neighbours, teachers, Classroom assistants, friends, siblings.
Take your child outside and hunt for some little sticks to make into worry dolls. Wrap with wool or paint them. Make some for yourself too! At bedtime tonight, if your child would like, they could have the dolls nearby.
If your child is not at all keen, it might be worth carrying out the activity and choosing a little cousin, friend or teddy to make the worry dolls for. You might be surprised at how special they become.
If you do make worry dolls, please take a photo and send into school for the Class Galleries.
If you have too many dolls, I’m sure your teachers would like one!
