Other activities you may consider doing:
- Plan or create some cakes, biscuits or sweet treats to celebrate the VE Day on Friday 8th May.
Lots of events were planned including street parties across the country, think about what you would make to celebrate at a street party.
You might want to use the link to decorate some bunting or create your own to decorate your home.
If you do not have any baking ingredients, plan a VE Day celebration menu. What might you eat to celebrate the day? Think about traditional foods, party foods and possibly food from the 1940s. You could choose your favourite foods.
- Tomorrow is the 75th Anniversary of VE Day- Victory in Europe Day. Bring all your work together and join in some of the celebrations in your own home- your own street/at home party with some music and possibly some cakes or biscuits.
It would be lovely if you spoke to your family and shared your learning this week. Why not give your family a video call or voice call to tell them about the 75th Anniversary VE Day and how you have celebrated? Your teachers would love to see what you have been doing too, don’t forget to ask an adult to send them an email of what you have been doing at home.
