Maths - ordering numbers
Today in Maths we are ordering numbers. You will need to think about how many tens and how many ones are in each number. There is a Powerpoint to guide you and also some tasks to complete.
English - rewriting The Gruffalo
Listen to the story of The Gruffalo again (see the link on Monday's page). There is also a copy of the story attached if you would like to read it. Discuss the story with an adult and think about the order in which things happen. Have a go at writing the story yourself. There is a 'word wish' to support you with some words you could use. You can draw pictures to help you.
Continuing on from drawing your plant/flower yesterday, have a go at trying a continuous line drawing today. A continuous line drawing is where you keep the pencil or pen on the page all the time rather than lifting off. It does not matter if you need to move across the page to add detail....keep the pencil/pen on the page. Here is an example!

Today in school we are recapping the -ee sound. How many words can you think of with the -ee sound. Write 2 sentences using 2 of your words.
This Alphablocks video will help with the long a vowel sound and the alternative spellings, that we will be looking at over the next couple of days.
