Tuesday 9th

Happy Tuesday Beech Class!

Keep going with your learning! I know it can be hard work to keep yourself motivated for this length of time. You are all doing really well and should be very proud of yourselves! Don't forget what Christopher Robin says to Winnie the Pooh, " You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think." wink

Today you will be reading The Lost Thing again but also revising and practising parenthesis. You will finish off by writing a book review.

For this weeks spellings, you are learning -ible/-able endings.

An -ible ending is mostly common if a complete root word can't be heard. Eg: Horrible

An -able ending is usually used if a complete word can be heard before it. Eg: Understandable

Can you write them as a word search? Use coloured pens/pencils? Write them backwards?

Don't forget you could also

spend time looking through this reading website and explore all the super 7000 books online. These include fiction, non-fiction and graphic novels.

Or use the National Literacy Trust website.

Don't forget to practise your spellings on Spelling Shed.

Today, you will be placing 6-digit numbers on lines, comparing and rounding numbers.

Don't forget to practise your times tables on Times Tables Rock Stars
