Awbridge Primary School PTA
About
The PTA raise thousands of pounds each year through organising various activities and events for both the children and adults. From Summer Fetes, Christmas fayres, school discos and movie nights through to simple playground cake sales.
The money raised is used to provide extras for the children such as equipment and resources which would not otherwise be available within the school budget, to enhance our children’s education and enjoyment of school.
In recent years this has included funding Ipads and Chromebooks for use throughout each year group, funding the purchase of various resources for science and history, outdoor play equipment, creating an eco garden around our pond, providing money for new books and sports training, our MUGA (which enables us to continue with outdoor PE lessons in the winter months) our mile a day track which is hugely popular with the children and encourages year round fitness and most recently, AV equipment for our school hall, which allows for much better sound during assemblies and productions to name but a few.

Upcoming Fundrasing events
- Second Hand Uniform Sale - Friday 31st January 2025 in the school hall after school
- "Break the Rules Day" - Friday 14th February 2025
This will be an opportunity for the children to "break the rules" for a day! Please see the below poster for the rules that the children can break (there may be some additional surprises on the day).
Please note: the rules the children can break are listed and the expectation on children's behaviour will remain as normal.
To take part, we kindly ask for a donation of £2 per child which can be paid on the way into school.
