Library
At Awbridge we love our library. We are passionate about books and reading and encouraging reading for pleasure. Our library has a wide selection of fiction and non-fiction books, including picture books, first reader books, quick reads, and fiction for age 10+. Our Librarian is Mrs Hampshire, and we also have a team of pupil librarians who help children to borrow and return books on a daily basis.
Most fiction books are colour coded according to their Accelerated Reader book level, to help children choose books at their reading level.
All children can come to the library to choose library books and in most cases, take the books home.
Borrowing from the library:
YR – Y4: two books (loaned for 3 weeks max.)
Y5 – Y6: three books (loaned for 4 weeks max.)

Children can enjoy an exciting integrated collection of premium ebooks, audiobooks, comics and magazines available on computers or other smart devices.
Children can log in using their Google Classroom credentials.
If they are logged into their school Google account, they can find the link to Sora via the "waffle" (9 dots) in the top right hand corner of the web page.
